Mac Koshnoodi - MK Construction, Inc.

Mr. Koshnoodi founded MK Construction, Inc. in 1982 and has completed major construction projects that range over $100 million dollars.  As Director of Construction Services KOH can now provide general contracting, construction management, and design/build services, as well as, conceptual estimating, planning and pre-construction for both public and private owners. Mr. Koshnoodi’s expertise allows KOH to provide a full range of pre-construction services, including conceptual and budget estimating, planning, scheduling, value engineering, quality assurance and quality control and subcontractor screening. During construction KOH can provide project management, CPM scheduling, safety/EPA training and compliance, as well as quality control procedures that promote timely project closeout.

Alex Basu, PE - 21st Century Technocrats & Consultants, LLC

Principal Structural Engineer with KOH having over forty-nine years of vast experience in the engineering profession.  Mr. Basu has worked in various capacities in corporate environments in the engineering profession from the beginning of his career.  He worked for the third biggest industrial and engineering company in India almost seven years, one year of which was spent in the UK for the design, engineering and coordination of the biggest fertilizer plant built by ICI in India. He left his managerial assignment in India before coming to USA.

 

His forty-two-year career in the USA is comprised of work on infrastructures for the airport, light rail transit and NJ transit system, high-rise and residential buildings, bridges & highways and the nuclear Industry. He worked for many years and held responsible positions in a number of reputable consulting engineering companies within the USA, including Bechtel Corporation, Stone & Webster Engineering Corporation, Ebasco services Inc., Burns & Roe Inc. and United Engineers Inc. He worked as Lead engineer for the McGuire Group, Inc. and his duties included structural inspections, evaluation and rating of the existing bridges for the Garden State Parkway and NJ State Highway authority.  He worked as a Chief engineer for A & E consultants in New York City, NY. He has vast management experience and knowledge in the preparation of complete design packages, conditional & project reports, certification of all engineering documents, inspection and engineering reports for industrial, commercial, office, school and residential buildings, chemical and process plants, water treatment plants, water filtration plants, waste treatment plants, pumping station and facilities. Mr. Basu's global experience as an Engineer in the profession is a tremendous help and obviously an asset for KOH’s operation in the engineering design and construction.

Richard B. Gordon, PE

Principal Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing Engineer has been working since 1975 in the profession and has experience in HVAC and Mechanical systems for almost 38 years. He worked in a reputed US company in India for almost ten years and worked in a managerial position for quite some time. He worked for fifteen years in the USA in various reputed and world-class engineering companies as a Mechanical Engineer. His extensive design and engineering experience and proficiency in HVAC and mechanical systems, indoor air quality, ACM abatement, energy conservation, project management, systems evaluation, system reliability, value engineering, construction cost estimates, quality control and quality assurances, plant commissioning, engineering reports, code compliance, control inspection, contract administration, construction supervision and trouble-shooting is an immense asset for the operation of KOH in the engineering activities.

 

Krishna C. Sen, PE

Principal Electrical Engineer has been working in the profession for almost fifteen years in various capacities e.g., Electrical Engineer, Senior Electrical Engineer, and Lead Project Engineer for multinational companies, including Bechtel corporation, Black & Veatch Corporation and other consulting firms. He has worked in electrical design and engineering for power plants, manufacturing plants, airports, multistoried office and shopping complexes, commercial and university buildings, and various outfits. His specialty in load analysis, fault level calculations, design of control diagrams, cable sizing, illumination calculation, grounding system calculation, layout drawings, construction cost estimate, preparation of electrical drawings and specifications, review of shop drawings and various electrical power supply and system design, lighting and surge protection, witchgear, cables, cable trays, lighting fixtures and power devices is a powerful tool for electrical designs and is an immense asset.

Charles Chelotti, PE - Engineering Design Studio LLC

Principal Civil Engineer with KOH having over twenty-five years of experience in the engineering profession.  Mr. Chelotti's leads a team of engineers, architects, surveyors, urban planners, landscape architects, and environmental scientists that are advanced and technically up to date on what it takes to run a successful project using sustainable design practices.

Our extensive local government experience in the financing, planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance of municipal infrastructure gives our firm the unique perspective and focus required to develop successful municipal infrastructure projects.  Our staff of professionals has over 100 years of combined experience in a broad spectrum of engineering disciplines. We can help with everything from local site development approvals, to federal design-build projects, to customized solutions. In the early stages of a project, we can provide conceptual studies to insure success. During the preliminary phases, our engineers can analyze various alternative plans and environmental constraints to determine feasibility and cost efficiency.

M Frank Johnson, - MFJ Labs, Inc.

Mr. Johnson received his MBA from Remington College, Tampa, Florida. After graduating from college, he served in several positions at the College. As Director of Education he was primarily responsible for safety, ACCSC compliance, and retention in 5 degree programs and 3 diploma programs.  He managed and motivated 5 direct reports and 26 indirect reports. As Chairman of IT/Electronics he managed and motivated a team of 8 professional IT/Electronics instructors. He was also responsible for instructional applications and delivery to the desktops across 19 campuses nationwide. As Senior Application Programmer and Networking Instructor he developed the curriculum and taught Introduction to Programming MS C++, Introduction to Programming MS Visual Basic, MS Official Curriculum (Windows Advanced Server), and Networking Concepts. As IT Contractor for Alternative Resources Corp in Tampa, he was responsible for Problem Resolution POC for the Level III Support Team at IBM Global Services.  He Provided level III support at Honeywell Guidance & Navigation Systems and Honeywell Space Systems. Zainab Khadija Ali, Esquire - Ali Watson, PC

Ms. Ali is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Florida, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Ms. Ali completed her under graduate studies at the University of Miami and her legal studies at Emory University School of Law. Ms. Ali began her career at Service Employees International Union where she became adept in organizing and Strategizing around short-term and long-term political goals to build and strengthen the bonds between industry and community for shared economic prosperity. Since relocating to Philadelphia, Ms. Ali has represented clients in a broad range of civil issues in state and federal court, as well in the drafting and negotiation of commercial real estate agreements. Thomas J. Tweddle - Hoppecke Batteries Inc.

Mr. Tweddle graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics with a minor in Mathematics from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. He quickly jettisoned those learned skills and applied them within his role in corporate consulting. While working with the largest corporate retailers in supply chain logistics Thomas contributed in delivering an overall $65 million increase in gross profit division-wide in his three years at the World’s largest single site battery manufacturer. In his time acting as liaison between the engineering, sales, and service divisions within his former company, Thomas brought with him a numerical and technical expertise, fortified by the emotional and intellectual intelligence required, delivering to C-Level executives.

 

Thomas has transitioned from one of the largest producers in the U.S. battery market to the single largest global entity within battery technology at Hoppecke Battery. Thomas is currently developing a regional sales territory with a proven technology in the rapidly expanding field of U.S. energy storage with regard to Motive, Stationary, Grid, and Traction Power systems. Thomas has completed courses in Lean Management, Lean Six Sigma - Green Belt, with Ferroresonant, Silicon Controlled Rectifier, and High Frequency Charger trainings as well as continuously expanding MBA-level course exposure. Thomas is also actively pursuing his CAPM and PMP certifications while continuing to expand his breadth of knowledge, and professional network, through entrepreneurship.

Daria Hill, D Hill Cleaning Services, LLC

Ms. Hill brings more than 10 years of experience in the field of Grease Maintenance Services.  Ms. Hill previously worked for A-Valey Engineers, Inc., who is a current grease maintenance vendor at the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) prior to starting her own cleaning service company. Ms. Hill was responsible for the safe upkeep of the airport's restaurants in Terminals A through F. PHL is renowned for the quality of its concessions program, which features 210,000 square feet of stores and eateries throughout Terminals A through F.

 

Ms. Hill served as a Lead Technician for Averus USA, Inc. and was responsible for the safe upkeep of all locations for Applebee’s, Arby’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Carrabba’s, Cheesecake Factory, Dinosaur BBQ, Joe’s Crab Shack, Johnny Rockets, Macaroni Grill, Outback Steakhouse, and Uno Pizzeria and Grill in the upstate New York area. Ms. Hill helped maintain a safe and productive environment at PHL and Averus.

Robert E. Donovan

Mr. Donovan brings more than 15 years of experience in the field of Grease Maintenance Services.  Mr. Donovan served as a supervisor for A-Valey Engineers, Inc., who is a current grease maintenance vendor at the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL).   Mr. Donovan was responsible for the safe upkeep of the airport restaurants in Terminals A through F. PHL which serves more than 30.7 million passengers annually is the only major airport serving the 5th largest metropolitan area in the United States and the second largest city on the East Coast. Mr. Donovan helped to maintain a safe and productive environment at PHL.
